Kathy Reilly has been at the University of Chicago for over 30 years, starting out as a staff nurse in Hematology/Oncology before moving into clinical research nursing. Over the years, she has worn many hats, including the associate director of the Office of Clinical Research, clinical research support office nurse, nurse manager of the Clinical Research Center, and now serves as ITM’s Principal Navigator and local navigator at UChicago. Kathy has worked in clinical research in nearly every role imaginable, which makes her
ideally suited to help folks navigate ITM’s myriad resources. Off the clock,she’s happiest with flour on the counter and a new baking challenge – her latest obsession is perfecting sourdough bread. When she’s not in the kitchen,
you’ll likely find her exploring the outdoors, tending her garden, or growing an impressive collection of plants and veggies (and the occasional giant pumpkin).
